The Board of Platte County Commissioners is a three man board that holds public meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Special meetings and public hearings are scheduled as issues arise. If anyone is interested in getting on the next meeting's agenda, please contact the County Clerk, Jean Dixon at 307-322-1314 to be scheduled.

The Board is responsible for:

• Preparing and adopting the County budget
• Adopting resolutions
• Setting County policies
• Overseeing Road & Bridge superintendent and road construction/reconstruction
• Board appointments (see Boards & Members)
• Approving vouchers
• Approving bonds
• County Board of Equalization Hearing Officers
• Planning & Zoning Commission Hearing Officers
