The Selection Process
- Submit Application
- Score 70% or better on written test
- Pass basic typing test
- Pass Wyoming law enforcement Academy fitness entry test
- Pass oral interview
- Pass background investigation
- Pass a psychological exam
- Pass interview with Sheriff
- Pass medical exam
- Pass drug screening
- Pass fingerprint screening
Candidates passing the mentioned tests and background investigation will receive
a conditional job offer. The applicant will then complete a psychological and medical
exam. After all tests and evaluations are complete and have acceptable results,
the candidate will then receive the final job offer.
