DESCRIPTION:Public Hearing NoticeCommunity Development Block Grant (CDBG)SECOND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICEPlatte County and The Town of Wheatland will hold a public hearing to discuss the completion of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project from the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA).  The public hearing will be held:                Date and Time: Monday November 9, 2026, at 6:30PM                 Place: 600 9th Street Wheatland, WY 82201                Proposed Projects: 16th Street Reconstruction ProjectThe purpose of the public hearing is to solicit public view, comments, regarding the completion of the 16th Street Reconstruction Project, under the CDBG Program.The Wyoming Community Development Authority granted $1,000,000.00 to Platte County and $1,000,000.00 The Town of Wheatland for16th Street Reconstruction Project. The project has benefited 8,634 residents of Platte County and the Town of Wheatland. Eligible activities included acquisition, rehabilitation, publicly owned infrastructure, clearance of sites, improvements to public facilities activities.  At least 75% of activities must result in a direct benefit to low (50% of HUD’s AMI) and moderate (80% of HUD’s AMI) income persons.Interested persons are invited to attend, participate, and comment on the project.  Comments may be submitted in writing prior to the meeting.  Send comments to Tabitha Enniss at the Town of Wheatland 600 9th Street Wheatland, WY 82201 OR Malcolm Ervin at Platte County PO Box 728 Wheatland, WY 82201 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during these hearings should notify Town of Wheatland 307-322-2962 at least three days prior to the hearing to be attended.
