Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

SECOND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Platte County and The Town of Wheatland will hold a public hearing to discuss the completion of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project from the Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA).  The public hearing will be held:

                Date and Time: Monday November 9, 2026, at 6:30PM

                Place: 600 9^th Street Wheatland, WY 82201

                Proposed Projects: 16th Street Reconstruction Project

The purpose of the public hearing is to solicit public view, comments, regarding the completion of the 16^th Street Reconstruction Project, under the CDBG Program.

The Wyoming Community Development Authority granted $1,000,000.00 to Platte County and $1,000,000.00 The Town of Wheatland for16^th Street Reconstruction Project. The project has benefited 8,634 residents of Platte County and the Town of Wheatland. Eligible activities included acquisition, rehabilitation, publicly owned infrastructure, clearance of sites, improvements to public facilities activities.  At least 75% of activities must result in a direct benefit to low (50% of HUD’s AMI) and moderate (80% of HUD’s AMI) income persons.
