Job Title: Librarian (Part-Time)
Salary range: Up to $13.00/hour
Location: Wheatland
Job Description:
The Platte County Library will accept applications for a part time librarian at the library until Friday, December 16, 2022. Applicants must have a high school diploma; a valid driver’s license and a criminal background check may be required.
Applicants must be able to:
· Work well with the public
· Perform procedures related to the circulation of materials
· Perform accepted phone procedures
· Possess computer ability, knowledge and skills
· Work 30-32 hour weeks including evenings and weekends
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Extra consideration will be given to applicants who have experience or knowledge pertaining to:
· Dewey decimal system
· Children’s Programs
· Computer Software
