Platte County needs you to serve on a volunteer board! 

The County Commissioners appoint volunteer members to several important boards: 

• Fair Board – Plan the County Fair and provide direction for the Fair Grounds.
• Hospital Foundation Board – Organize financial support for the hospital and nursing home. 
• Housing Authority Board – Oversee the management of senior housing complex at 1605 16^th St., Wheatland. 
• Library Board – Oversee the management of the County’s library system.
• Planning & Zoning – Review land use applications and provide a direction for the County’s development.
• Weed & Pest – Oversee the operations of Weed & Pest throughout the County.
