Overview

The Platte County Attorney's Office:

• Prosecutes on behalf of the people of the State of Wyoming in all criminal and juvenile matters;
• Represents the Platte County Commissioner's in all civil matters;
• Represents each Platte County elected official in the official capacity;
• Provides legal opinions to the elected officials, boards and entities involved in Platte County Government;
• Represents the State of Wyoming's interest in all involuntary hospitalization proceedings;
• Provide legal duties as prescribed by law.
