About the Platte County Fair Board:

The Platte County Fair Board is five-person board appointed by the Commissioners. This board is tasked with managing the fair grounds and organizing the annual County Fair. These board members serve a five-year term without compensation. The Platte County Fair Board meets at 6:00 PM on the 2nd Monday of each month. Fair 2020:

The Platte County Fair will be held the week of July 24th through August 2nd, 2020.

Fair Grounds location:

The Platte County Fair Grounds are located at 59 Antelope Gap Road, Wheatland, WY 82201. There are a number of facilities at the fair grounds including the 4-H Building, which serves a number of purposes.

Current Budget Information:

The Fair Board's budget is approved by the Board of Platte County Commissioners. They are funded with a portion of the County's mill levy and from revenue generated through fair activities. To see their budget please visit the County Budget web page.
