NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PLATTE COUNTY LAND USE RULES & REGULATIONS

Notice is hereby given that the Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, beginning at 1:00 PM. The hearing

will be held at the Agriplex (4-H Building), located at 59 Antelope Gap Road in Wheatland. The purpose of the meeting is to accept public comments on proposed changes

to the Platte County Land Use Rules & Regulations incorporating data centers into the existing Platte County Land Use Rules & Regulations. Specifically,

to recommended changes to Table of Contents, Chapter 2 Definitions, Chapter 6 Class III Commercial Classification, Chapter 7 Class IV Applicable to

Industrial Classification, Chapter 8 Ranching, Agricultural and Mining District (RAM). Additional chapters could be included. 


The an example of the proposed changes can be examined below or outside the Office of the County Planner or the Land Room of the Clerk's Office.

The both offices are located in the County Courthouse (800 9th St., Wheatland).

You may also submit written comments regarding the proposed changes by emailing planner@plattecountywyoming.com,

by mailing them to PO Box 728, Wheatland, WY 82201 (Attention Planning Office);

or by delivering them to the Planning Office.

Written comments must be received by noon on Thursday, September 10, 2026, to be considered by the Commission.
