Loan Closet

The Loan Closet is a walk-in service provided to Platte County residents, regardless of

income, to help provide medically necessary equipment.  Equipment can be borrowed on a

short term basis of 3 months for all items except wheelchairs, which can be borrowed for 1 month.

Deposits may be required for items taken more than 10 miles outside of Wheatland. Staff will notify you if a deposit is required. 

Items are purchased or restocked using donations from the community. Items donated can be accepted 

as long as they are in usable condition and can be sterilized.
