Immunization and Disease Prevention
Preventing disease and protecting community health, immunizations remain an important factor in public health strategy.
Childhood Vaccines 2 months through 18 years of age
We offer childhood vaccines, 2 months through 18 years of age, by appointment on Tuesdays, Thursdays and the first Friday of every month. We are able to bill most insurance companies, please present insurance information at the time of service. If you do not have insurance the cost is $21.50 per vaccine.
If your child has received immunizations somewhere other than Platte County Public Health, we will need a complete copy of your child's immunization record before we can schedule them. Immunization records can be dropped off at PCPH, 718 9th street, faxed to 307-322-2846 or emailed to phnwheatland@wyo.gov. Please include child's name, parent/guardian names, current address and phone number when sending and dropping off immunization records.

Immunization Records Requests
If you need a copy of child's or your immunizations you can come to PCPH and request a copy or you can download the Docket app on your phone. DOCKET App for Immunization Records This is considered an official immunization record, you can print or email the immunization record as needed. The Docket app also informs you of what immunizations you child needs or will need in the future. If you are18 years or older you can download this app for your use for college, travel, etc.
Adult Vaccines
We offer the following vaccines for those who are over the age of 18 years: Tdap, HPV, Shingrix (shingles vaccine), Arexvy (RSV vaccine), Prevnar 20, seasonal Influenza and Covid 19. Adult vaccines are offered M-F, by appointment. We are able to bill Medicare and private insurance for vaccines, although it is a good idea to contact your insurance company to make sure the cost of the vaccine is covered. You can also pay cash, prices vary depending on the vaccine.

Covid 19 Vaccine
At this time we do not have any Covid vaccines in stock. Please check with Banner Medical Clinic in Wheatland or major pharmacies such as Walgreens, Walmart, Sam's Club, CVS. We will let the community know when we get the vaccine in stock. Contact us with any questions.

Flu Shots
We offer Influenza vaccine seasonally for ages 6 months and older. We are able to bill insurance for the cost of the vaccine. If you do not have insurance the discounted price is $41.50. We carry the Trivalent vaccine (6 months and older), as well as the High Dose Vaccine for 65 years and older. The cost for High Dose Flu vaccine if you have no insurance is $94.90
